I never thought I would like yoga. It had a funny stereotype of awkward poses inside a blank space where a cult following happened. I brought down my walls for a session at Move Yoga and most surprisingly to me I was shocked how much I enjoyed it. My pose posture wasn't great, but I was overwhelmed by the camaraderie extended to me. The atmosphere in the yoga room made it relaxing and zen like, much better than my expectations. From a guy that never thought he would practice yoga, I recommend giving it a go. I'm glad I did.

I checked out a class at MOVE the other day and loved it. The space was really nice and relaxing. I had a hard time finding it, but just enter through the door that says MOHAWK. Read the email they send you when you sign up for specific instructions on how to get in. The price for unlimited yoga is the best in the city and the studio is convenient to OTR and Clifton. I highly recommend it.

I have attended yoga classes taught by both Hadley and Hilary. MOVE is very lucky to have them. Hadley teaches from her heart and you can feel her caring and healing energy as she takes you through her class. Her background in Reiki shows in her mindful adjustments. She really makes you feel like you're in a safe space -- a no-judgement zone. Hilary also has wonderful adjustments and teaches with thoughtful cues that help you understand how you should be engaging in each pose. I know Hilary is also a massage therapist, so it makes sense that she speaks so coherently about the body and alignment. The studio itself is really coming along. I enjoy the windows in the studio and being able to see the sun set during evening classes. From speaking with the owners and staff, it seems like they're a tightly-knit crew who genuinely enjoy being there and are excited to grow in the space and within the community of Brighton. I feel like there's always something new and fun that they've added to their space every time I stop in. It definitely has a different vibe once you get inside than you might expect it would have if you were just judging by the office building entrance. It's a relaxing space. I love the addition of the hammocks in the front room. I mean, who doesn't love a good hammock? :) I will be back. I will bring friends.

My MOVE Yoga experience to date has been phenomenal. The atmosphere is hard to describe. There's free tea, hammocks, and a really cool entry way where everyone usually hangs out before class and chats...newcomers are always extremely welcomed by the owners Ryan and Patrick and they go out of their way to make everyone feel right at home.
The classes themselves are sooooo good too. Teachers are top notch. Music and essential oils at the end provided me an experience where I cried. Yes, I actually cried out of pure joy at my first Yin yoga class here!
The teachers have an outstanding ability to mix humor in at the right time if needed. They are very kind and helpful for beginners like myself. Also, I am a Health Coach and have sent multiple clients to MOVE to get their first yoga experience under their belts, I trust them that much.
5 stars all the way baby!

Physically spacious, ethereally plentiful, and essentially perfect describes the new Move Yoga located at 1984 Central Avenue. The Yoga/Wine evening experienced last Wednesday provided a needed mid-week realignment and our class of 30+ was well tended by the instructors who are clearly passionate about their teachings to provide optimal student experience. Thank you, to one and all. Continued rhythm and flow be yours.
