Was attending the 11.30am weekday mass on August 16th . Had this shocking experience during the peace greeting when I extended my hand to the guy in front of me and he refused to shake my hand! Could this be happening in this day and age? Turned out he is a Eucharistic minister too. I decided not to go for the communion ! He may decide not to give me the wine! May God forgive us all. Will still attend mass there despite this sad experience. Beautiful church and am sure there are beautiful people there too.

My husband and I attended the 3pm Christmas Eve Mass here for the first time this past week. We were lucky enough to find a nearby parking spot, but it's a good thing that my aunt got there early and saved seats because this place was absolutely packed!! There were seven of us in all and we weren't able to sit together due to the crowd. There were added seats along the sides and I'm pretty sure that every single one was taken.
The mass was lovely the inside of the church was beautiful. It's very different from any Catholic church I've visit - very Roman. Lots of red, black and gold leaf.

Beautiful building & lovely architecture even though I wonder if they'll ever consider putting another altar back against the walls. The tour of the Cathedral is lovely though I wonder what else there is for people to see. A map & pictures of the Monestaries & Convents that used to be Downtown along with the Parishes would be a good start. . .
