If you like your cocktails to be not too sweet, this is place for you. In my opinion, it's the best cocktail bar in the city. It's small and busy, but not uncomfortable, generally, especially if you are lucky enough to get a seat.

Some craft cocktails make this a cool experience. A nice bar that I usually find crowded, it's a good place for a drink with friends.

Went there yesterday. The owner was very nice and said we could bring our baby in (she is well mannered and not able to walk). The mixologist behind the bar knew the drinks and the background of the types of alcohol, how they were made, what makes them different etc. It smells amazing and has a vibe of a 1930s apothecary. Super cool find and would recommend for a great night out. Sophisticated but not snooty.

One of my favorite bars in Cincinnati. Great bartenders who can handle any ask. Best to check out mid-day on Saturdays and Sundays when the crowds are small.

Visited S&V before a music festival being held downtown. The place is small, so I could see it being very crowded on weekends. The drink menu is very good with lots of exciting and unique options. They also serve 'cocktails on tap' which are on special during happy hour. I would recommend the old fashioned on tap for the best $5-$6 happy hour special in OTR.
