Very nice touch, thorough and clear communication. Not too aggressive when suggesting additional services.

I started coming here 2 years ago after adopting a puppy who had giardia. My initial experience was with the receptionist who thoughtfully listened to my concerns, consulted with the doctor and gave me solutions. This was before I made an appointment. I was so thankful and impressed with her kind professionalism. I continue to be impressed and moved by this incredible staff.

They are kind, efficient, knowledgeable and really, truly love animals. They evaluate your pets needs and don't push unnecessary tests or medications to pad your bill. (I have had that unfortunate experience with another establishment). They are what healthcare providers of all kinds should strive to be.

LOVE This vet! Honestly, I don't know what people are talking about when they say this place is all about the money, granted our pup was a patient of West Loop prior to us switching to BLVD, so our anchor is a bit off. (On that note, I DO NOT RECOMMEND West Loop).
BLVD has been patient and helpful in the care of our little pup. Dr. Williams is amazing! He will sit as long as it takes to answer questions and educate you on what he is doing with your pooch. Honestly, our little guy had a rough first few weeks with us thanks to a crappy breeder that gave him to us with Giardia (Chicagoland Boxers if you want to avoid the same issue) so we had been to MANY vet and ER offices with him and feel like we got to have a pretty good understanding of what type of service is available in Chicago.
Verdict? BLVD Vet is Clean, Patient, Knowledgable and as far as I can tell affordable. Its not a budget vet, but we also weren't looking to skimp on medical care, with our puppy's past health issues. We just wanted to find a doctor that we felt we could trust and we have found that at BLVD.

The vet was very interested in my dogs well being. He started the visit with questions about his diet, exercise, activity, and general well being before even starting the exam. I really felt like he wanted to know about my dog and cared about his health and well being. I feel the price was worth the level of care me and my dog were shown, and I plan on returning for any further visits. Very satisfied.

I agree- this office is ALL about the money. First time and last time client. Very disappointed. The vet took what he referred to as a "fleeting glimpse" at the emergency issue my dog was experiencing- said he needed surgery - disappeared and sent in a tech or someone- who obviously didn't introduce herself, but did introduce a huge estimate for dental surgery based on that "fleeting glimpse". When I balked at the process, the tech disappeared and in came the customer service (desk) person who told me I owed $314.00 . I didn't receive any further instructions other than to apply for Care Credit. Other than the "surgery estimate", I was not even handed a receipt for my payment. No care, no compassion, no empathy for my dog at all. I ended up taking the dog to another neighborhood vets office, and will be writing a wonderful review as my dog has become much better under a care plan that cost me 1/3 of what this office wanted. If you have money to burn, I'm sure they will treat you like gold. I want a refund.
