Just back from this fabulous rental conveniently located near the RED line on the CTA, which took us everywhere we went within minutes. 2 stops north on the RED line gets you to a transfer station to go anywhere in the city - we went as far north as Second City, west to Oak Park and everywhere else. We used Lyft to get to the 1 or 2 places that weren't conveniently served ( time wise, for us) by any CTA bus or train.
The home is located in the shadow of the White Sox stadium in a lovely neighborhood. The home is well equipped with premium cable, comfy beds ( the futon a tiny bit less so than the 2 Queen beds) , a well stocked kitchen of cookware, stainless steel appliances and many spices and other cooking items.
There are 3 stand out highlights here - the rooftop deck which overlooks the Chicago skyline was a real treat. The ladder to get there may be a bit too steep for some but we managed it OK. The indoor hot tub was THE BOMB, especially after a busy day of sightseeing and tired feet. But my FAVORITE feature, by far, was the multi-spray, luxurious, LARGE shower - with 2 overhead faucets and 3 horizontal ones, I felt like I was in a spa, being given the royal treatment.
The 2 owners sent us copious information ahead of time on things to do, where to eat, transportation options, etc. And all of my questions prior to arrival were promptly answered. When we arrived, the WiFi and cable were acting a bit funky but a quick phone call & visit solved the problem immediately. The owners aim to please!
I highly recommend the home for anyone wanting a "home away from home" while in the Chicago area!

I have rented vacation rentals many times and this was the most pleasant experience of all. Bob is very professional and offered the most informative package of information regarding the property and the surrounding area, as well as transportation suggestions.
Great view of the skyline from the rooftop deck! After a long couple of days at a conference at the McCormick Center and sight seeing, the HOT TUB was an outstanding benefit. The unit is secure and clean. The steam bath/shower is much nicer than any shower I have had in my own house! I highly recommend this rental and I would rent it again
It's a wonderful house in a nice neighborhood. Situated very close to everything you'd want to do in and around the greater Chicago area. Owner is very personable and ensured our comfort and needs were met. Very well kept home with upgrades and amenities rarely experienced :) Jacuzzi was very clean and ready, garage space provided. We have definitely found a permanent place to stay when we go back!
