I went on this ghost investigation/tour in 2014 and what I remember it was very professional and interesting. The event started off gathering outside an abandoned factory on the lower west side. We then walked through the historic building to the prep room. Here we were given a presentation on proper ghost hunting techniques and tested out some equipment like the dowsing rods. We then proceeded into the basement of the factory. This is where we split up into groups in attempt to make contact with any lingering spirits. We were given a 'spirit box' a fm/am radio that scans through all frequencies generating white noise which in theory gives spirits energy to be heard. We also were given a k2 emf (electro magnetic meter) which, in theory, spirits can manipulate electro magnetic fields and make the sensor go off. I remember feeling very creeped out at some parts of the investigation but that was part of the fun of it. I wish I still had the pictures from the event. It was a very unique experience, I'm glad I got to do it. Unfortunately it closed a year or two ago.

It was a lot of fun! We mads contact with a number of spirits, and even if we hadn't, it was still pretty awesome! I would definitely do it again!

My son and I went and we had a very, very good time. He really enjoyed it. The guides were helpful and the setting was very spooky, but not frightening. Which is good, it is not meant to be a frightening experience. They explain the equipment and gave demonstrations.
Even if you are a non-believer, you will have an enjoyable night.

My friends and I had an absolutely amazing experience. What I thought was just supposed to be scary fun ended up being very personal and leaving me with instant peace with a passed loved one. Although not a skeptic, I went in with an open sense of humor and left with amazing faith in the afterlife and guardian angels. Thanks to Brian, Margo, and Karen for such an excellent experience.
