I'll start by saying that I love Uncle Remus' chicken. Their mild sauce is what I love the most. The prices seem to increase regularly though. I usually prefer to call in my order to avoid the wait. But sometimes you call and the phone rings repeatedly or you get put on hold for longer than you would like.

The location & interior design are a bit iffy but the wings and sauce are like no other. If you're a fan of Harold's Chicken, you'll enjoy Uncle Remus

Chicken was good. Can do without the fries. Overall good. Neighborhood is kind of scary but it's expected.

Always Hood and Always Good! Lol! You will see some stuff, hear some things and may even smell a little something before entering, but know that Everybody there is there for one thing... the food! :) People from all walks of life and those just trying to get by come for the food. I usually either order wings, no sauce or roll, a 4-5 piece. No complaints. Let's Do this! #Westside
