The waiters are great and frequently check up on you. The food quality is good but not the best, this is a place you will go on for a third date once you and her are comfortable with each other. This also could be a place for family because the inside looks like a forest and you can hear sound effects

If zero stars was an option I would have picked that. Our first time dining here on a Friday night. We waited 30 minutes before we even got our sodas. Our server Gilberto never checked on us once to see how we were doing or give us an update on our drinks. (Mind you he passed by our table at least 10 times without a check up or hi) Our food came 50 min later and until the end of our meal our server asked if we wanted refills once our drinks had already been finished for a while. You can tell that this place is discriminating, a family of (white) was sitting across from us with the same server, and they were getting checked on every 5 minutes. Funny because our server was the same race as us- you'd except them to be more cordial!! I ordered a pasta and it tasted like the $1 frozen meals sold at jewel. Our bill was very high for the horrible service we received, with no apologies. For sure never coming back to one of these places again!!

I was really excited to bring my daughters here. I went with the attitude that you are really paying for the experience and the environment rather than the food.
Our waitress was very sweet with the kids. That meant a lot to me and was truly appreciated.
I was disappointed that my oldest daughter was left hungry after eating her meal. I kind of felt the same. My husband thought his was perfect though. All of agreed the food was tasty. The other reviews were right about the food being a bit pricey but the restaurant does have an LED star ceiling, a life-size animated elephant, and a waterfall. Our dessert looked way better than it tasted. That kind of was a bummer. The sparkler on top was wow but the weird oily whip and dry cake were not. Overall, I'm glad we went.

I went here on Sunday for a birthday party. The valet parking was perfect. The inside of the restaurant was so fun and lively with the animated decor. The staff, including the fun balloon designer and mascot frog, were so helpful and fun. The party went very well. The food was yummy and came in a large portion. The meal even came with a dessert. The bathrooms were clean and overall I would love to have a party here sometime. It's a great place for a party or just a fun lunch/dinner while in Chicago. They even offer a store to buy a gift or souvenir. Overall, I really enjoyed the time spent here and would go back for sure!
