Great place for a run or walk with the dogs. Its super people friendly and there always interesting opportunities for people watching. The park is small, clean, and has tons of greenery. There is a small playground for the little ones as well. Nothing fancy but a great spot to get a bit of outdoors time.

I remember when this park was pretty much a no-go zone. It has changed! Now it's full of people doing fun things and it's really pretty. I was surprised at how nice it's become. This is not the Palmer Square area of yore.

This large park has areas for kids to play, dogs to run and a trail around it for running. The people are friendly and usually having a picnic or hanging out.
The only downside to the park is that us can easily turn muddy with rain and can flood. It is large enough that you can find space that isn't though.
I am definitely happy to have this park so close for my dog.

I don't know why, but I love this park. Maybe it's the location, maybe it's the open space, but there's something about this place that is inviting and welcome. You'll find joggers, people walking their dogs, reading books, in a hammock, playing a game... Very friendly spot. There's a children's area, and it's surround by mostly residential. A nice healthy walk away from Milwaukee Ave & Logan Blvd. Great spot to relax when the weather cooperates.
