Nice room in a repurposed bank building. I enjoyed my original daiquiri. Lobster roll (only on Tuesday) was tasty but for $30 it had about half the lobster meat I’d expect. Snapper ceviche tasted great, bright and fresh. Our waiter was nice and professional but for a place that does big raw bar business I would expect the oyster selection and pricing to be either clearly listed or described. We ended up with 8 oysters each (the recommended “tour”) for $49. I thought that was somewhat overpriced. But overall a pretty pleasant dinner.

The best restaurant I ate at while visiting Charleston. Amazing seafood selections, creative food and great drinks and wine.
Service is excellent and knowledgeable.

The space itself is beautiful, I like it a lot. There’s a lot of bar space to dine in pairs or alone. Portions are on the small side so you need to order two dishes if you’re hungry. I ordered the wrong things as I didn’t enjoy the food very much.
The oysters are small, though presentation and accompaniments are lovely. I also got an entire fried soft shell crab, and shrimp on a piece of bread. Too much raw stuff and oily/fried stuff on the menu for me. Portions should be bigger and dishes not so heavy.
Bar staff were all young white men with bow ties and mostly man buns. Bit weird and forced.

WOW! What an exceptional meal! We each got the lobster roll. One hot and one cold. We split it straight down the middle. Boy they were TASTY!!!! Our server Justin was prompt and professional. So glad after 2 years we finally made our way here!

A few friends and I went to the Ordinary for dinner during a bachelorette weekend. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. We were sat at the front of the restaurant in plain view of the hostess desk. The entire dinner the hostesses stared and continued to say nasty things at/about our table. It was very disappointing to be treated so poorly. We were planning on visiting this establishment again during our stay but due to the poor treatment we will not, nor will we recommend to anyone in the future.
