My husband and I had breakfast here on Saturday. We don't understand why the place isn't jam packed. The food is eclectic and quite good. I had the Veggie Hash; white potatoes, sweet potatoes, red onion, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese, topped with 2 eggs. Delicious! Hubby had the Gathering combo of course. ( He doesn't try anything different). Eggs and bacon, both perfectly cooked to order, potatoes and toast. The coffee was very good, too, which is a big plus. If I like the food at a restaurant, but not the coffee, I'll take my own. Give Gathering Cafe a try. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Based on reviews I came here expecting good food and service. They failed on both. The server didn't even ask us how our food was and we had to keep calling her back to the table when we were trying to ask questions about the menus. My fife got the 3 veggie plate. The sweet potato and cauliflower were burned and the spaghetti squash was sitting in grease. I had a Teriyaki bowl with shrimp. The shrimp was tasteless and the bowl was watered down. We didn't even eat half the food and left hungry.

Went here based on reviews to have a healthy alternative, celebrating my husband's birthday. The food was so bad I wanted to cry. We wasted 30 dollars on burnt, greasy food that I could have cooked better at home. Server didn't even ask us how the food was even though we left most of the food on the plates. We are at a total loss. Go to Verde if you want healthy and more reasonable prices. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so special.

Ordered the 3 for $9 "Greens & Grains:" white bean salad, charred cauliflower, and roasted spaghetti squash. All were fantastic! Salad probably too tangy for my husband, but I loved it. Want to get some takeout spaghetti squash to prove to a friend that it can be delicious! Cauliflower was my favorite.

The Gathering's focus on offering organic food is warmly welcomed in this age of Microwave mentality. They offer wonderful vegan/vegetarian options, which is hard to come by around here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This is where I take my parents to have a good meal for birthdays and special occasions. If you want yummy food at delicious prices, try the Gathering. Support local!
