Great pizza and calzones fired up right in front of us. Their toppings are tasty and authenticly Italian. The Vesuvio is a personal favorite. Had one instance of inconisistent quality, which isn't bad considering how many times we've been.

$25 for the large self-titled "Desano" specialty pizza that was mediocre at best. Skimped on all toppings except one slice had an enormous glob of mozzarella that was delicious. Overall it looked like someone threw together a pizza in less than 20 seconds then slid it into the oven. A pizza with so few ingredients shouldn't be >$15 in my opinion. I'll just avoid Desanos in the future and head to DeAllesandros instead.

Been here a few times. Food was good. Service was marginal. Prices were too high. Food takes forever! I'll go somewhere else if I have the choice.

Wow!!! Absolutely amazing Italian style pizza. Everytime I traveled to Charleston I told myself I'd try it, but kept putting it off. This time around I made it a point to go there and was not disappointed. I shared the Margherita pizza and the taste and texture was just something you can't get at many places. Had I known this pizza was that good, I would have gone here more often. It is a must try for those who haven't before!
