It was alright. I can dig the ambience but lighting was a little awkward and the theme is not particularly novel. Food was okay. The salmon with lemon risotto and veggies almost tasted like Chinese takeout. Better in every way to take out but not by a whole lot

This restaurant is really a cool place! The food is the best, the staff is the best. If you like a place with great character and awesome food, don’t miss it!

Food, service, location - everything was SPECTACULAR! We sat at a window booth downstairs which was across the street from the carriage rides. Our two year old had a great time looking at the horse and carriages rides leaving. The food... omg... the FOOD. I have been living in Charleston a little under a year and this is by far the best food I've ever had here. My palette has never been happier and we will definitely be back very soon!!

This was an outstanding food experience. The grouper was very good. The blend of spices and greens was delicious. The duck breast was tender and spectacular. The dried cherries and sauce greatly added to the taste. The server was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was good. The outside of the building is plain and easy to overlook. Unfortunately, is it located across the street from a stable for the carriage horses. I did not notice a smell but it places the restaurant in an odd location. Just for laughs, another side street is Motley. That makes it the Motley Cru...get it? No laughs about the food though. It is a seriously good place to eat. Highly recommend.
