Absolutely love this Yoga studio!!! I have been going for over a year; clean, professional, and treated like family. Download the app for various classes, times and dates. Highly recommend classes with Kate Counts and Tracey Abeles. Changing room, bathroom, yoga mats, blocks, blankets and props are all available.

Went in for the $5 evenning class labeled Gaea Flow. It was awesome and pushed me to do more than I normally do in Yoga classes, but in a good way. I was really able to move some stuck energy. Felt very relaxed, but had good positive energy afterwards!

I found Gaea in January and have been back for classes every day since. The atmosphere is relaxed and feels like home. As a first time student, I did not feel out of place or pressured to be any certain way. The owner Kate Smith travels around the world bringing back wisdom and wonderful teachings - passing them on to an amazing family of teachers & students. There are Gentle, Yin, Gaea Grounded, Flow (several types), Pilates Mat, Yin2Yang, and Yang2Yin classes to choose from - something for every taste and level. I have tried them all - so far I enjoy the Yin, Gentle, and Grounded the most. Highly recommended! See you there :)

I am new to Charleston and have been searching for a new yoga studio to call home. This place is great for me and works really well with my schedule. Classes are offered all week and are full of people from beginner level to advanced. I have been to two classes now and can't wait to go again! I just wish they weren't all the way out in Mount Pleasant :(

I was vacationing near Mount Pleasant from Denver, Co and picked up a 5 day pass at Gaea. It is not a stretch to say that it was a highlight of my trip. All of the classes are great and the studio is fittingly named. While I cannot write of all the instructors, the four that I was lucky enough to share class time with are definitely goddesses.
Two classes in particular stand out in my mind. There are times in yoga when no matter how hard I try, I cannot concentrate. I took the “Grounded” class with Angela and it was soooo focusing. She spoke constantly about breathing to the extent that the poses just occurred naturally. When it was over I was strangely invigorated and relaxed simultaneously. I enjoyed it to the extent that I took the same class later in the week with Katie. The focus was not on the breath but was on micro movements and positions. It too took very intense concentration and has revived my practice.
A fantastic experience. I recommend the studio to everyone who considers it.
BTW. This is the first review I have ever written. That is how compelled I am to endorse Gaea.
