This is regarding the West Ashley location. Front desk was extremely rude. Maybe they are used to speaking with elderly people or something, but they speak so rudely. I called in to ask about an insurance question, and I pressed the right number to reach billing/ insurance. The woman answered like she was still asleep and uninterested, and only said " coastal vascular and vein...." Didn't give me her name, the department or location, and when I told her my name and I was calling about whether or not my insurance was covering the procedure, she simply told me she wasn't in charge of that but would look up my info. Umm, did I not just tell you that's exactly the extension I pressed? She told me that it takes 4-6 weeks for them to receive everything and get back to them. The doc told me it would take a couple days to a week at the most. When I told her that she laughed at me and said you never to listen to the doctors about billing. When I asked if she could see if my insurance received their packet, she goes you could certainly call your insurance and ask, a complete smart ass. Don't be rude to your clients because you're having a bad day! Not even sure this is the right place for me. Already feeling uneasy about them and offended. Absolutely rude. The doctor was nice, and the nurse, so I give them the stars, but what you have to deal with after is awful.

I went to the new North Charleston office across from Trident to have sclero injections for my unsightly leg veins. Dr. Vanessa Hajzus did an outstanding job on my legs. She really understands the smallest of veins and injected me where I could get the most results. I am very happy with the results.

The staff are friendly and efficient. The front office was willing to copy my statements for my insurance for me, the doctor's nursing staff put me right at ease with the procedure. The doctor explained everything to me well before hand, he, again, put me at ease during the procedure, whenever I would seemed scared, he would joke with me and made me feel better. Aftercare was explained and all testing needed was done quickly.
This is the place to go if you need your varicose veins fixed!
