Updated: I will like to set my prior review straight. I believe Dr Poletti is a brilliant neurosurgeon and truly wants to help people, my prior review is in regard to Southeastern Spine's business model and practice of over scheduling and over booking patience for the same time frame. I have been to Dr Poletti on five occasions. All of which required me to wait well beyond an hour and a half past my appointment scheduled start time before being brought back to be seen. 1-2 times out of 5, of waiting an hour and a half past might be justifiable. But 5 out of 5 is reflection of their business model. The last visit I had to Southeastern Spine, after the 1.5 hour past mark, I asked the receptionist how behind schedule they were today. Her reply was about an hour, I asked how many people were in front of me, she said it was hard to tell, 5 or 6? I asked her how that could be, because my appointment was already over an hour behind. She shrugged and said, he is usually running behind.
My review is on the business practice of over scheduling patients and the blatant disregard for the value of their customers time. At your appointment to Southeastern Spine you will be seen by a Very qualified Neurosurgeon or his extremely qualified and wonderful bedside manor physicians assistant, but be prepared to make a day of your visit before scheduling your appointment to Southeastern Spine.

I cannot express how grateful I am for my experience w/ Dr. POLETTI, JUSTIN, AMANDA and the entire Staff there. I was homebound for three years, and had consulted with 7 doctors in my area, before I met POLETTI in 2010. He is an amazing, gifted physician. I had a two day operation and had one more in 2013. His skills improved my life immensely.

I had heard and read about Dr. Poletti's impressive competence and his poor bedside manners. Was I ever surprised! You cannot imagine a friendlier physician who listens attentively and patiently to your account of 17 years of painful back trouble and welcomes the patient's input from her own research. How unusual and comforting! Shortly after, he sat down with me and reviewed the X-rays he had ordered in great detail and advised me against surgery unless no other means to lighten the pain can be found. "No , the surgery was not risky and it was simple, but it might not bring relief," he said. I had been warned to go to the Spine Institute where the doctors wanted to get you under the knife. Not Dr. Spoletti. I trust him completely and am hopeful that he will find a way to get me to go for walks again.

Dr. Steven Poletti was a disappointment! He is arrogant & unconcerned with his patient's needs. I waited weeks to get an appointment, & once the day finally arrived, I sat in the waiting room for over an hr before getting in a room. Once there, a rushed Dr. Poletti entered my room, and treated me like I was an unintelligent-nuisance. He questioned me in a demeaning tone, & told me that I was not in pain. How can a Dr. tell me that I'm not in pain? I have never been treated so badly by any Doctor in my life! I would not return to this doctor if he was the last physician in the country! He cares NOTHING about patients, even though they have paid for that fancy 200K Porsche that he drives to work everyday. Don't pay his porsche payment for him! Go to a different doctor who actually cares.
