I came in for insurance so I bought insurance. Everyone was friendly de 1st day but they asked me to come back de next & I bought de quote from an older woman different then de 1st 2 sweet women who assisted me. A 2day process..? unwelcoming that they send you home & do not check de rates in your presence&they put me in a room by myself & did all de processing in another room out of sight. She informed me that I wasn't actually getting de liability that I asked for. De 1st agent should have explained this. Something about extra liability or something but not full coverage & she talked to me like I was a little girl & like I had done something wrong & I felt chastised. She was freaking me out over exaggerating that someone could wreck into me & sue me for a hundred thousand dollars. I mean she acted like I was getting insurance for a brand new race car or a big monster truck. A hundred thousand dollars.. I understand something bad could happen but she was being crazy about it. She asked me about my personal life & insulted me a few times. I'm sure whatever snob class high mountain she stands on that she is not better then me. Remember who's de customer & that you hope they are not wreckless. If I hadn't been in such a hurry & so desperate than I would've walked out on her. I did get a better rate than de other major brand companies were offering but she made a point, she said I was buying a higher "liability" plan & I figured whatever level de other companies was charging was de same higher "liability" way for more expensive "liability". She was unforgiving & no mercy rude as she stared at me as I gasped for air confounded she kept smirking I felt like she was laughing at me. My initial car cost less then my insurance®istration. I'm disabled & I had to save uP for 6months to be able to register&insure here plus penalty for insurance lapse for storing my car. I'm struggling & they were rude about it. NY insurance is ridiculous. As much as they charge for everything out here you ought to get better service. What in de world takes so long.. "about3weeks" to print & mail de Official insurance cards? humph. Ridiculous; & chicklets... That's cheap. My last insurance was less then $200 for 6 months & de 1 before was less then $250w/road side assistance for 6 months. This plan was nearly $500 for 6months. I was a shew in for her informing me of de difference though. She had an awful dry humor. I still don't trust her. She freaked me out with de whole having to pay for more insurance & "what if somebody sues you for a hundred thousand dollars." I can't imagine living to see that happen if it were that bad. Now I'm going to be over stressed out thinking about de crazy lady & what if I die everytime somebody tailgates me which they shouldn't be doing either. It was too much & she was too rude. I don't drive crazy like that. De cashier at de dmv did de same thing she kept saying "if you get a speeding ticket" ugh! I'm more likely to get a ticket for going to slow. Humph. It was so stressful. If I had time to dilly dally than I would have kept looking for something else.

Walsh Duffield is a great insurance agency. We were referred to them through a friend, and we were treated royally. While we are not a big customer (we’re yet to buy our first home), we felt our business was appreciated and were given great advice and great SERVICE on our car and renters insurance, and got a great rate on our life insurance policy as well. I highly recommend them; they are obviously interested in long term relationships; not just selling policies.

This is an incredible organization led by a team of talented and compassionate individuals - an example set by Ted Walsh and exhibited each day by all of their team members including Stephen Mayo and Charmaine Derenda - just to mention a few. In February, I totaled my car in one of two multi-car pileups in blinding snow on I-81 near Watertown. After being hit from various angles by various vehicles multiple times - including being pushed under a tanker and traveling on my side - I was a bit traumatized. It was a moment in time when you understand why you invest in insurance. The Walsh team was simply outstanding from the first phone call from the scene of the accident right to today. Each call they have made to me starts with an inquiry on how I am and ends with what else can they do for me. They are prompt, timely and do what they tell you they are going to do. And in each of those moments, you are treated with grace and care. I truly cannot say enough about the Walsh Duffield team and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs personal or commercial insurance.

I have dealt with Walsh for many many years. In that time I have found them to be highly efficient, ethical, professional and always supportive of my company. They are proactive bringing solutions to me, often before a problem surfaces. A great group of people dedicated to fulfilling the clients needs. I look upon them as a trusted partner in business.
