Yum! I had a Greek salad, and it was awesome! Friends raved about the fish fry. The fish was, literally, hanging off the plate. Cash only, which was a bummer.

Great food and friendly staff. One of the oldest tavern in Buffalo. A must to visit for a drink and wings or whatever.

Great hot wings. Crispy skin, plenty of meat, hot enough for you to reach for your beer, but not to make your eyes water. Lots of regulars. Homey feel. Bartenders are nice, almost too nice.

I ate lunch at Swannie house on Sept 12, 2017 for the first time because I was referred there by a Buffalo local/resident who spoke highly of the burgers at Swannie House. Good choice for a burger. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Burgers are cooked over an open flame which makes the burgers impressive. I enjoyed my burger. The fries are made inhouse & cut fresh. Upon taking a bite of the burger, I wish I had ordered 2 burgers & skipped the fries. Not that the fries were not good but I really enjoyed the burger more than I enjoyed the fries & I am not a big fries person. Swannie House is not huge but the decor is unique. Lol. You want a good burger, go to Swannie House.

Great food & service. Reasonable prices. Awesome chicken wings (with very little wait time) & able to have your dog join you on the patio.
