I was excited about eating here, as it was recommended to me by a colleague. It wasn't my best experience. The service was just OK. My waitress seemed to be a bit put out that she had to work, never smiled, she didn't talk more than was necessary. The food was also just OK. I understand its Tex Mex, but it didn't have much flavor and it was borderline cold.

Placed a large order for company luncheon with 4 day noticed. The food was delicious as expected, but what impressed me the most was the price for all that was included, the courtesy and great customer service. Everyone was pleased with the food. We will be doing business with them in the future.

What a great accommodating place the servers and the food was awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody with a large group they're very nice and accommodating. Great selection on the menu and everything we had at our table which was over 20 people was very nice and delicious.

While a Mexican food staple in downtown Bryan, Papa Perez just doesn't seem to have maintained the quality that made their original location so successful. Empanadas and enchiladas are still reliably good and their bar generally churns out solid margaritas. Unfortunately, service can be hit or miss regardless of how busy the restaurant may be. Hopefully things will improve in the future, but, for now, an average rating seems the most honest evaluation.
