Great food, great service!
I always get an amazing meal here. It's not fancy, but it is always incredible!

And the lunch specials are a good deal and definitely fill you up.

The food was on point with the exception of the lettuce. The side order of lettuce was wilted, slimy & clumped together.
The service was TERRIBLE with a capital T!
We were seated quickly and our chips & salsa came quickly. The same can’t be said for our drinks. It took 10 minutes from the time we were seated to get some tea! We had to get our own highchair. After another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. Our food came quickly but our 3 servers seemed to disappear. One of them surfaced briefly to bring us our bill.

Worst service I have ever had. First off we went in & we were told the wait would be 45 mins. We waited an hour & a half with no apologies & nobody seemed to care about how long we actually waited. Our terrible server said about two words to us... drinks & food. We wanted it split our queso & our server made one of us get up to help him split the checks.... because he just couldn’t understand how to split queso on one check. The food was not good but after waiting so long we were starving so we ate it anyways. After all of this I just wanted to talk to the manager. When I asked an employee for a manager he said ‘’I don’t really know I think she is in the front somewhere’’ so nobody would get me a manager they basically told me to go find her myself. He also never came back to give us change or swipe out cards. I’m highly disappointed because this place used to be bomb I guess not anymore.

I have been a lifelong Casa Rod fan. The food and service are still great, but if they don't step up their chips and salsa game, they might lose my family. The last three times we went there, they served us watery and very tomatoey salsa in Styrofoam cups. I'm sorry, but in Texas chips and salsa are the face of the restaurant and this just simply won't do in a very competitive Mexican food arena.

Great Tex-Mex, breakfast or dinner fare. Service was excellent, food arrived quickly, cheese was real and very melty, price was not much- we got 4 thick-stuffed tacos for 11 bucks- and one taco filled me up with chips and salsa.

This is a great place to bring family too, grab a beer and some enchiladas, but probably not a "first date" place. It has a homey environment, but hasn't been updated in a while. Also, drink specials are good too.
