Never again. NEVER again. Aggieland Title was a nightmare every step of the way. We closed on both our sale and purchase on a Friday morning, and were told by all parties that we should have keys to the new house by early afternoon. However, thanks to a form that was left out of the closing packet, and an incorrect settlement statement (math errors by the title company discovered the following Monday, requiring us to pay more money), Aggieland Title delayed our move by FOUR DAYS. Our movers had to be cancelled and rescheduled. We had several service providers lined up for quotes or repairs, which all had to be cancelled and rescheduled, causing lengthy delays in some cases. We had to take unplanned time off from work. Our nightmare culminated with my husband and me standing in Aggieland Title Company’s back hallway, micromanaging their employees on Monday at noon, to send a wire transfer which should have been sent four days earlier if people had done their jobs correctly. Even then, they seemed unsure of their process, and were not in a hurry to help. I fully believe our case would have been “set aside” for another day if we hadn’t been pushing them to do their jobs so that we could obtain keys and meet our rescheduled moving crew an hour later. Every employee was quick to shirk the blame; no one stepped up to solve the problem quickly until we showed up and wouldn’t leave their office without resolution. If I ever once displayed this level of incompetency in my job, I would no longer be employed. Never again.

**EDIT: One month after moving, we're still discovering errors. At least one inspection invoice which was invoiced to Aggieland Title, and supposed to be paid by them and included on our closing statement, was not paid. Now we're having to work directly with the inspector to pay something we thought had already been handled. He is rightly frustrated that he hasn't been compensated for a service provided two months ago.

When the title company can't get the buyer's name right, there's a problem. Try calling, and you get placed on hold for a very long time.
