Went with a large party. I know one of our group had an issue with burger being undercooked and then not remedied to her satisfaction bit what I could eat being a vegan was good. Would recommend it to anyone who is a meat eater but as someone who is vegan I probably won't go back on my own but I do recommend.

Disappointed by the corned beef hash. It is definitely not the same as a year ago. Perhaps they have new ownership?
Recipe Box used to have the most incredible, tastiest, homemade corned beef hash. I just ordered corned beef hash and it was completely different and incredibly disappointing.
I could tell the hash was a totally different when I first looked at it. As I ate it, I tasted mostly porato, onion, and peppers with gristle and fat getting caught in my teeth.
I didn't taste any yummy corned beef, but I assume that was the nasty fat and chewy gristle. It should be called home fries with corned beef fat gristle hash.
I hope this restaurant gets it together.

Excellent home cook style meals! Like the Yankee pot roast, with vegetables, which was delicious! Proportions are huge and the price is extremely reasonable. My salad came with Romaine lettuce and was presented very nicely! I definitely will be returning on a regular basis! The service is excellent and very courteous and polite, too!

Ordered Cuban pork sandwich. Menu lists that it has pork, ham, and pickles on sandwich. Sandwich comes mayo and mustard on it. I let waitress know I didn't know that came on sandwich and that I don't like it. She said it always comes with it and walks away. I don't eat the sandwich and she never says another word. I should have complained more and demanded another be made. I did see on their other menu (paper one) it lists those on the sandwich...maybe they should make sure their menus match up. Would have liked to have seen better customer service for my first trip. Will not be returning.

My boyfriend and I live a few minutes away from the Recipe Box on SR 70, we normally go somewhere else but my boyfriend wanted to try something new. I of course wanted to go to our original spot but was up for trying something new.
I ordered the French toast and the meat lovers breakfast with home fries. Let me tell you I never had home fries that tasted any better. They were the first off of my plate. Don't think I ever ate any other breakfast faster! I then had my French toast that had the perfect amount of cinnamon and vanilla mixed in that it was mouth watering!
Our server Jamie was very tentative to us and came back several times to ask how our food was and of course if we needed anything which typically doesn't happen at a lot of restaurants.
Our overall experience at the Recipe Box was amazing and delicious, we will definitely be coming back again!
