Poppo's is a wonderful alternative to Chipotle. The quality of their food definitely shows. I would say, however, that the flavor is going to be something you're going to love, or hate and need to get used to. Don't just not go back if you don't like it the first time. Play around with it, find what you like, and you may find that the specific taste is something you end up really enjoying.

I only say 3 stars because of the size of the $4 tacos, way too small for $4 each. But the flavor is top notch, makes you forget about Tijuana Flats. But just quite worth the bank.

Ordered two tacos and side of guac. Pork was mushy. Beef was too salty. Guac was fresh but needed salt. Corn tortillas were very good and was the, best part of the meal. Polite service. Too pricey!

Great local business that sources most of ingredients locally. Food is always fresh and consistent, a bit pricey when compared with other taquerias. Another great feature is they hand make their tortillas in front of you and fry their chips to order. I tell people all the time to stop in and try it.
