My husband recently retired in Ohio. Knowing we have a vacation home in the Bradenton area, his staff did their research to find a quality upscale restaurant to give him a gift certificate to. Michael John's did not disappoint! Our meal was excellent! From the hot crusty bread to the chocolate lava cake. Waitresses were knowledgeable and friendly.

Everything was awesome! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice. This is the best restaurant I have been to in Bradenton. I highly recommend it to anyone.

A little dark inside. Prices are also higher than expected. Went on a quiet night with plenty of open tables but the group that arrived after us was seated right next to us. Unfortunately, they were conducting a job interview. Didn't care to be so close and heard almost every question and the responses. Not a good experience when we were celebrating an romantic birthday.

Can not speak highly enough of Michael John's. This may be my first review, however, I have eaten there dozens of times. No matter if I am by myself, on a date, bring 20 business associates...they always meet and exceed expectations. The beer cheese and tomato soups are both magnificent. I can always count on a quality steak cooked to perfection. My associates that drink tell me the wine and drinks are always spot on (I don't drink) and the desserts....just order one of everything and have the dessert buffet, you can't go wrong. Now if we could only get them to open up for lunch.....
