The tourist thing to do for sure. And it is a bit corny. But it is Boston icon. Hopefully you can spot the parks Swan couple, Romeo and Juliet.

On my list of "must visit" in Boston, especially if you have kids and have read Make Way for Ducklings. (A few hundred times.) Fun experience for the kids. The best thing is you don't need to paddle the boat. The driver does all the work. You could say that one gets to "duck out" of that chore.

I don't know that this is a "Tourist Thing" - I do know that this was an incredibly relaxing 15 minutes of luxury that any stressed out person would love.
My tween daughter and I did this on July 4 - there was no wait, we got right no the boat, had a seating row to ourselves. We loved it.
Make sure you know to go all the way through the Boston Common park into the Victorian period Public Park to find it.
This is included in the Boston Go Card and I definitely recommend the respite.

Seemed ok at first but the ride lasts all of 5-10 minutes. Little bit of marketing overkill for this. No wait, turn around is quick. Ride was over so quickly didnt have time to enjoy the ambiance.

As a huge fan of Make Way for Ducklings as a kid, I was very excited to ride in these boats. We enjoyed the peaceful ride. It's only $3.50 per person. Definitely something you should do when visiting Boston!
