Multiple city government offices; staff here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Building is old and difficult to navigate.

It prob is one of oldest city halls in USA. So it's historic, but kinda dated inside. Worked here a few years ago, well laid out multi floor design.

I never like to go to any city halls, I feel like getting permits etc is always such a hassle and staff majority of the time is not friendly. I am a new resident and the people from the greeters to the people who helped me get my permits were all super nice, fast and accommodating. Made moving a lot less stressful

A masterpiece of post-modernist, brutalist architecture by Paul Rudolf. Has a big, brick plaza that often hosts events.

For a piece of Brutalist Architecture, the city animates the space around it very well. In the winter time, there's a Christmas market, public skating, and a lit up Boston sign.
There's a new subway stop right at the plaza, so this place is very easy to access!
