The food was fantastic and the service excellent. The waiter did a great job with a recommendation. The place is clean enough but could use some newer table cloths and the picture frames need a good dusting.

I had never tried Afghan food before, and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious! Very pleasant waitstaff as well, and the decor is lovely, warm, and cozy. I'll be going back.

Very cozy, warm decor, and friendly service. Love the fact they have a full bar now! This is a fine, romantic place to explore Afghan cuisine. As others have said, the 'kaddo' pumpkin dish prepared vegetarian style without the ground meat, is just fantastic. Their hearth baked breads are prepared in full view in their gorgeous marble clad stone hearth, and I highly recommend whatever seafood specials are on the menu. The trout with walnuts and dates that we had last night was outstanding.

This is the second time I came here.
The first time I came I wanted to give 10 stars out of 5. It was so good.
However, this time I was severely disappointed. The waiter asked if we wanted wine and when we said no, she looked so dissappointed and angry that we were surprised. We hadn't asked her any information about it either to make her feel we wanted wine.
Then, someone else served us food which went well. The food didn't taste that great. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not perfect like last time.
Then we ordered dessert and some coffee, both were very good, and hence I have given 3 stars.
I got left overs packed and they charged me for a brown bag. I know stores charge for plastic bags but what kind of a cheap restaurant charges for a brown bag? Moreover, in their suggested tip section, they added the tip on the total amount including tax instead of just food. Most restaurants write the suggested tip based on just food.
The guy who came to give us the check talked to us very politely and explained our waiter was busy and hence, he was collecting the check. He thanked us for coming as well. I think we just got unlucky with waiter who served us.

Food was great. Hearty and flavorful. Larger portion than I expected.
Pleasant atmosphere was laid back and not overly loud. Friendly, helpful staff.
Definitely a recommend.
