Your fish “experts” need more education. On a recent trip to your store, I had intended to purchase a small goldfish for my 5 gallon tank. The tank had 2 snails in it and needed a fish. I was told by the girl in the Aquatic Pets area that she would not sell me the goldfish because they need at least a 20 gallon tank and that the goldfish would eat the snails. I have been a fish hobbiest for over 30 years and never had heard of such a thing. Needless to say, I left the store feeling lied to. Fast forward about a month ahead, I’m back in your store to purchase pet food- again I’m in the aquatics section looking for fish food. As I am shopping I overheard the 2 girls in the fish section discussing how they just told a customer that they would not sell them an Oscar. Who are your employees to decide who gets to purchase what at your store? They have no idea of the experience of the person purchasing the pet and in actuality it’s none of the their business. So #1, if a customer wants to buy something, sale it to them and #2 tell your employees that gossiping about customers in the presence of other customers is completely unprofessional and rude. I did get my goldfish from another store. It’s quite happy in its 5 gallon tank and the snails are still alive.

We took our 3.5 month old Shihtzu/Yorkie mix here for his first grooming. Stephanie in the salon was beyond great about making me comfortable and answering all of my questions. She explained acclimating him to grooming and I watched her interactions with him and was very impressed with her demeanor. My 4 year old was incredibly nervous about her puppy being left somewhere and Stephanie was kind enough to let her pick a little bow for his ear and make her feel included while she was watching. The only thing I took a star off for was how short the trim between his eyes was, and the fact that it looked a little bit silly I'm comparison to not having any other fluff taken off. However, I understand that puppies are hard and appreciate that she took the time to get the necessary things done for him without making him feel too overwhelmed, and know that it will be an easier process as we go to get the style we want. I'd definitely recommend her.

Animals were well taken care of, but some of the dogs could use a little more love and therapy before adoption - which will definitely help them find homes. Store was nice and clean and organized and full of animals.

My golden girls get pampered here. They come out happy, looking and smelling great. The staff is courteous, professional and pretty quick, which is nice for me and my doggies. The prices are industry standard, and I feel they are right in line with other venues. Very happy, and love the emails with my girls pictures. I always post them to show how great they look.
