Great small vet clinic with a wonderful staff. They love animals and do a thorough exam. Highly recommended.

Hands down best Veterinary clinic in the greater Baton Rouge area. Doctors Eastin and Sydney are top notch from first exam to surgical aftercare and everything in-between. Management goes above and beyond to make sure both patient and client feel comfortable and cared for and truly feel "at home".
A lot of the larger clinics in the area don't bother taking the time to be personable and caring to make you feel welcome and cared for and about, and bedside manner seems like a concept of times past when dealing with most of the larger clinics around the Baton Rouge area. I guess maybe I'm just "old school" when it comes to the care, manner of treatment, and simple southern hospitality that I expect from my Veterinary needs. As a breeder of champion show dogs I expect certain things from the practice that I choose to vet my kennel with and OHVH provides me with all of those things and then some. As I said, management goes the extra mile to make you feel at home and welcome there, and that goes a long way with me. I recommend this clinic to ANYONE, from pet owner to breeder or rescue organization. I assure you that you will find all your needs met there. :-)

Dr. Liz Eastin is one of the reasons I decided to become a vet. Having worked for several clinics around Baton Rouge, I can honestly say that she shows compassion that most are lacking. She genuinely loves her job and it shows. She works harder than anyone else I have worked for, and she still donates time and resources to several rescue groups. @Angela, sorry you didn't like working at the clinic, but reviews are about customer experiences and satisfaction/dissatisfaction with the business--not disgruntled employees venting about their former employer.

I went here as a first time pet owner and had a great experience! They were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I asked about a zillion questions and they happily answered them all and gave me lots of tips. Much, much better than other vet experiences my family has had here in BR. There is a very home-y atmosphere here and I will absolutely be coming back.
