We eat from this location at least once per month. The service and food is always great. But today everyone was super happy behind the counter. It was contagious! Love eating here.

I tried a little of everything because this was my first time here. The Bay B Ribs, Turkey and Beef Brisket were ALL so juicy and tender. The green beans w/ bacon was seasoned well. The mac and cheese was cheesy. The potato salad was good. The corn bread was very delicious and moist. And the corn casserole was moist and tasty. This is definitely a new spot for me to go regularly.

We walked in and Kathy met us and proceeded to tell us about the restaurant. She asked the other young lady to give us samples to try and to explain about the food. Later she came to our table and explained the sauces. What a jewel you have in her. The food was delicious. We need to come back to John Hopkins and plan on coming back. Also going to check to see if we have a Mission BBQ near us in Virginia.

I’m not a person who’s food has to be piping hot and almost never have to heat up take out.
But the ribs were so cold that I had to pop them in the microwave. They were also very soft..mushy almost. And although I asked for sauce, there was none.
The 3 stars are for the sides because they were actually really good.

I have never been in a "bad" Mission BBQ. Every location really does the best they can to make your meal as delicious and comfortable as possible. This location really seems to go above and beyond with their service. We have become regulars and now a few other the wait staff we are know by name and they know ours as well. We always make small talk.
