If you get your birthday cake cut, they will charge you 3 or 6 dollars a plate. I forget which. The portion of the food was small. Didn't have a good experience.

I ordered a soul from this restaurants display case - where you are supposed to have the fish you choose. The soul came - it had no smell, little flavor and both of our mouths swelled up. I went back to the display case and the same fish was there. I called over the manager ( with whom I had discussed earlier the one soul that was in the case , he said it came from holland) - he said they used fish from behind the counter!! It was bleached or peroxide put on it to mask its age. It was appalling - and at $65 was a travesty. It's a baaaaaad place. We were regulars but no more. Beware!!!!

Food good. We ordered an appetizer we thought was $14.00 when bill came it was $50.00 and the kicker was we got 2 of them. The waiter did not try to clarify which one we wanted. The $50.00 was for 4 people and there were only 4 of us. A$200.00 dinner bill. We were very upset. Be a while before we go back.

It maybe Zagat rated but I have had better food at far less "extravagant" places. The meal lacked flavor, the desert was perfect.
Hopefully the chef was just having an off day. There was not a large crowd the night I went. Food was brought to the table quickly cooked to order and the wait staff were very helpful with selections. Presentation was top bar, and the venue is modern.
Not worth the price, IMHO.

I have lived in Baltimore for almost five years. I'm mad at myself that I have deprived myself of this amazing food experience. The food is seven star worthy! The atmosphere is amazing. On a good evening with the wind blowing get a table outside. The charcoal grilled octopus is out of this world. It melts away in our mouth. I came here for my birthday dinner yesterday. I came back today for my with an order to go.
