The professionalism of evergreen Health's employees is terrible. I've been disconnected, given the run around as to which phone numbers I can and can't have, who I can speak to directly within different departments, and told repeatedly that none of the information that has been sent--3 times to the number they have given--has been received.
Appointments scheduled 13 days out from the time the preauth was requested, shouldn't have to be rescheduled due to evergreen's incompetence to review the paperwork within their allotted 24 to 48 hours.
Hire people who are responsible and competent to do the work they're asked to do.

My partner and I have had the absolute worst experience Evergreen health. My partner had lab work done over 6 months ago. Recently he got numerous bills from the lab totally approx $2,000 saying that it's the patients responsibilty because there was no coverage which simply was not true. The health plan had been paid in full throughout the year. When I called Evergreen to resolve this issue as we cannot afford to pay that much money out of pocket (especially when the plan has been paid in full) they said they have to get in touch with the health connection for some reason, and there has not been a response, this was about a month ago, and now the lab bills are past due. I'm desperate. I don't know what to do at this point. I sincerely feel that this insurance company simply does not care. I will say that the agents I speak with on the phone are willing to help but it doesn't seem like they know how to help. I'm just at my wits end. We shouldn't have to deal with all of this stress in addition to a life threatening illness :(

Went on appointment straight from emergency room as my 6 year old son needed immediate follow up with a doctor for a broken arm. Turn out they made a wrong time for an appointment. Also turn out they even did not have the service we needed. Why bother making appointment then?. But the worst part was a a treatment you receive from receptionist at the front desk who smurked unprofessionally and disgusted at my required documentations of unemployment proof and low income which i have provided sufficiently. The lady at the front desk was highly unprofessional to treat new patience like she did .At the end all the services being denied for my 6 year old son who had an emergency refferal .Way to go MANASSAS VA LOCATION !!!!!

I give them one star b/c it is the lowest rating I can give. This insurance company is awful. They take weeks to approve any treatments. Make it difficult for the doctor's offices to get in touch with them to find out what is covered and what is not. They are unfriendly. The only thing I got from them consistently was prescription coverage. I kept my fingers crossed that I would not get sick this year as I did not believe they would cover anything to help me get well if I did get sick. It took them seven months to respond to negative comments I gave them through the BBB. They are not interested in the patients at all. I can not recommend them even a little. You get absolutely nothing for any money you spend. I can not, in good conscience, suggest anyone ever enroll for insurance with this company.
