Well the food and desert both were unbelievably fresh and healthy. This isn't a typical restaurant at all. I would say it's an experience- calm ambience and wholesome earthy vegetarian food.
With that being said, I do need spice/salt/sugar in my food... all of that was missing.. but again it's different food! So all in all, it's must have one time experience atleast!

This is the best real wholesome type of food. I feel great every time I leave there just like food was intended to make you feel. The deserts are not knock you down sweet. They are subtle and won't give you a sugar rush. I wish all deserts would be like this. I never eat deserts except when I come here. This place is the best.

What is not to love? I was introduced to Casa de Luz more than 25 years ago now and I still love the food and the vibe here. They serve up a superb menu of macrobiotic goodies that are not only healthy, but tasty and creative as well. One price fits all. The school and kids playground in a semi-tropical jungle setting is a welcome calm that feeds the soul as well. Find it. You will love it!
