Excellent nighttime views of Austin reflected over the water.
I highly recommend coming here after dark for a relaxing, peaceful time by the water.
(After Dark) this place is very low traffic, and very quiet. It's probably one of the best (if not the only) place to get a view like this one without any noise or distractions.

First time here and I will say it has a beautiful view of Downtown Austin. I will definitely come to this spot again. I could only imagine the city lights at night.

Great spot to walk down and take in a view of Austin's downtown skyline. If the weather is nice there will people enjoying the water as well. You can park on Lou Neff Rd. but they charge for parking and I believe it's 5.00. We only stayed for about 15 minutes and didn't get a ticket on a Sunday for not paying. You can walk south on the trail just about 50 feet and take your shoes off and let your feet soak in the cool water.

There is a drinking fountain, shade, benches, and a fantastic view of the skyline across the lake. A perfect place to stop and enjoy a few restful minutes.
