Wow. Just wow. Unparalleled filth. The only type of remodeling that could fix this place is spelled A-R-S-O-N. I would say that prostitutes would even give it a miss, except the suspicious animal protein stain on the unwashed comforter in my room would like to differ. I didn't want to touch anything for fear of coming away with a rash or TB. I'm pretty sure someone urinated on the only chair in the room, but it was hard to smell over the scent of roach spray and despair that permeated everything. Half the lights didn't work, which might have worked to their advantage since I didn't realize at first that the curtain rods and the shower curtain rod were held together with duct tape. This is the kind of place where you end up getting murdered after a shady cannibal-fantasy Craigslist hookup, or where you find the body of a drifter stuffed under the mattress after it has marinated there for 2 weeks. And the staff. Oh, the staff. They were all creepy. Some were creepy in the way people sometimes get when they have given up on life and their form of passive suicidal ideation means they brood on the futility of all existence when faced with the inevitable heat death of the universe, In Public, which means their attentiveness to your needs is either nill or with a vague condescension because you have no idea how truly alone you are in the cosmos. Or... Or, the employee was creepy in a way that said they have a Terrible Secret that must be preserved at all costs and oh, by the way, your spleen would make a lovely hat. On the plus side I did wake up with both kidneys intact, and I would probably recommend it for a sadly stereotypical drug deal, heist planning, or ritual killing.
I think that almost everyone who disagrees is a schill. The woman with over 300 reviews to her name that reviewed hundreds of hotels within a month... hotels that mysteriously have employees with the same names at each location, is either a faking faker or deeply in the throws of a psychotic break. You would have an easier time convincing me of a flat earth than you would about this supposed hotel leaving guests fresh brownies. Hep C, but not candy. Mini bar? Pool? Fireplace? A bottle of Thunderbird is not a mini bar and a trash fire in an old metal barrel is not a fireplace.
If some of the decent reviews are genuine, those people deserve our pity, rather than scorn. Someone whose baseline acceptance of what is tolerable and what is not has sunk so low they need our help and understanding so they can heal. And not become a victim of the scarily intense man behind the counter that looks like he practices oculolinctus on hairless rats in his spare time.

They are remodeling, so the outside does not reflect the quality inside.
Great staff they are very helpful. Rooms are large and clean WHICH THEY HAVE RECENTLY REMODEL AND THEY ARE GREAT!. Affordable place to stay, right on IH 35, easy access to mostly everything, including DOWNTOWN.

this hotel is the best town. they have great service and also they room are really clean and quiet to stay and have a noce free time.

Beyond Excellent. Everyone at the Hotel was extremely welcoming and friendly...We had fresh brownies and homemade caramels waiting in our room, as well as a fully stocked mini bar. It has been awhile since I have seen a fully stocked mini bar including a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, beer, wine and liquor, mixers as well as tons of snacks for all types (healthy, not so healthy) . The pool was divine. Huge fire place with a enormous flat screen for in pool viewing....Which is exactly where we spent the last 2 hours of our night before retiring to a super comfy bed... Legit for sure! We will be back!
