Incredible chef tools, books, and wares. The employees here are very knowledgeable about their imported products. 15% discount applies to everything but consignment items for service industry folk.

Great store,
nothing quite like it in Austin other than big box stores. The folks who run this place are so nice and thoughtful, anything they don't have they will try to source for you. It is owned by the restauranteur who owns Lenoir next door and the supplies, decor, books, ingredients, all of it is as carefully edited as his menu.
This wonderful store also showcases local artisans with pop-up stores , they have demo classes and events. One of my favourite places in Austin. I will remember it fondly when I move back to my beloved DC.
