Very tasty, busy place on Friday evening when visited.
Menu changed since last visit but recommend the Caterpillar role.

Zushi Sushi discovered me about 8 years ago when I was awarded the contract to build there location in San Antonio. I've always had sushi but nevered had great sushi until I had Sushi Zushi. Sushi Zushi expanded to Austin and again I was awarded the contract. I'm so happy that they came to Austin. Now I don't have to travel to San Antonio for excellent fresh sushi. I come here regular now. My favorite: spicy shasimi salad, crawfish dynamite, Oaklawn roll, LRI roll, Christina roll, Salmon Tar tar, and of course The Razor Octopus.

If I was grading on the food alone, I would give it 4 starts. It's always been very good and fresh. The menu selection is wonderful and the drinks are fun and funky. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is the service. In have been to the restaurant in the Domain 6 times to eat and the service has been abysmal every single time. I took a friend from out of town two weeks ago and I was horrified at our waiter. We saw the hosted more often than the waiter. He would walk away in the middle of our conversations. It would be one thing if the restart was busy, but it was almost empty. I have even had bad service ordering a to-do meal. They forgot I was there and the bartender finally spoke up and checked on my order for me after waiting 45 minutes for 1 roll. I know I will go back because the food is that good, but be prepared to have a wait staff who is MIA.

One of the best in Austin. Menu is huge, something for everyone. Happy hour drinks are good price too.
