Our Server asked if this was our first time eating at Chickie's & Pete's, which it was, and proceeded to tell us the menu items were "a la carte" which meant the fries were not included with any of the sandwiches on the menu. The Server also informed us that the food comes out as soon as its ready in whatever order. MY friend and I order a burger, grilled chicken sandwich, and 2 mixed drinks....and fries. $52!!! Wow, kind of expensive for what we ordered and the food was average at best. It's ridiculous to sell the fries separately, and then charge almost $10 for them and try to justify that price by giving you enough fries for at least 4 people. Nobody wants that many fries, just give less fries and include them with the sandwiches instead of trying to fleece customers for $10 extra dollars on every order.

I am a big fan of Chickies and Petes. I go to Atlantic City at least once per year and I always make sure I go to this restaurant. They have hands down the best mussels I have ever eaten. They are incredible. And you get a massive serving, I'd say at least fifty of them, for fourteen dollars, which is a great price I think. Their crab fries are also fantastic. Service is generally great. My only complaint is that the night I went it was raining so we sat inside and I'm fine with music, even music on the louder side, but the entire time they were playing club music at absolutely ear splitting levels. I swear it was louder than a concert. Way too loud, we were eating faster to get out. But that is my only complaint and I will definitely be back, just hopefully on a day when I can sit outside.

Had a great time here. First time in Atlantic City so we wanted to try some of the local restaurants and this just so happened to be right by our hotel. The environment was fun, the food was amazing, and the service overall was great. The only reason why I won't give it 5 stars is because my girlfriend was given the wrong food and when she asked for a water she never got it until we were given the check.

Prices are great, service is poor. Sat at the bar with a party of three, food came out at different times. Got crab legs that took 45 min+ and multiple inquiries to get. Never was apologized to, never was given an explanation, never was given a discount. Their saving grace from 1 star was the cheap prices and that they put my requested baseball game on the TV.
