Great place to get in exercise while taking in beautiful scenery.

Secluded trail that perfect for working but biking gets difficult mainly because the trail is so short and goes nowhere really.

Few people visit this park. You can walk for hours and not see anyone. On the south side of the park, there is a creek that alternates between rocky cascades and sandy beaches. It does have a lot of trash. On the west side there is an unpaved trail. Concrete trails meander throughout. I see lots of deer here and have also seen a fox once.

By far the least appreciated forested greenspace in Atlanta. There are wide paved Beltline style trails throughout. Practically no one visits this park, but they should. I see deer and turkey on almost every visit. A beaver can be seen occasionally as can hawks. There is a wetland and floodplain along the creek surrounded by mixed hardwoods on the hills. I love that the park is big enough to walk for hours not covering the same ground twice all the while maybe seeing one or two other visitors.
