This shady, tree-lined mini-park is actually a section of the Federal Reserve Bank's front lawn. Whether you're looking for a respite from the Atlanta summer heat or desperately seeking a place to sit to eat your Food Truck Thursday chicken wrap, the benches in this cheerful little plaza make a great place for people-watching. Not a destination, really -- especially not with Piedmont Park so close by -- but if you're passing through, staying at the Lowe's or another Peachtree Street hotel, or visiting the Fed, consider pausing here a minute and enjoying the ambience.
