I read a few reviews before going here and it isn’t fantastic, but nowhere near as bad as some people are saying. There’s no cover charge, drinks are cheap, and the staff are very nice. The clientele were maybe Judy, but I’m a grown ass woman and I don’t care about their thoughts. My only problems with it is that it isn’t really a dance club, which is what I was looking for, and the drag shows are fun, but kind of underwhelming as they don’t have a stage, so you’ll probably be watching from across the bar. It’s also kind of crowded with nothing really going on. I’d go with a group of friends if all you wanna do is drink and have some fun, or maybe a date if you felt the mood for that was right.

As someone who travels 200 days out of the year and check out the LGBTQ communities very often. I was very disappointed with Blake’s.
Blake’s definitely attracts one type of person. It’s very pretentious which is alike a lot of bars, but normally they have staff members that will help make it normal. Not here the staff is as bad as the pretentious goers.
Really disappointed in this establishment.

I was there yesterday, first time ever, it was latin night, had the time of my life, music was very good, ambiance was nice, spent must of my time upstairs less crowded, and quick access to smoke cigarettes, cheap drinks, definitely will go back again
