The food arrives super quick and is ok, the cook is amazing in that they yell the order. He repeats it and gets it done. No frills, not fancy.

Best for breakfast and lunch, crowd can be rowdy and sketchy during football season and on weekend evenings. Waitresses and cooks are a hoot, some have been with Waffle House for decades and have seen it all. This is a great place to catch a late lunch, esp. if like me you like breakfast anytime. Second best Waffle House in town, the 5 Points location is the fastest, most professional and consistently prepared food. They're re- working the loop around Athens, and there's been talk that the Oconee Street restaurant will be torn down. I'll miss it, and the staff, esp. if it goes.
