Wow this place was great! The biscuit debris was freaking delicious! The food came out very quickly and service was great. Will definitely be coming back with my co-workers.

Loved it.
We had omelets. Yummy! Not skimpy on the stuffings. (lots of choices) I had home fries. Very good. My husband had the grits, pretty normal. The biscuits were great. Prices were pretty good too. I really like finding non-corporate restaurants. This is a gem... I will be going back.

It's always been my favorite place to eat breakfast in the DFW area... just a plain old down home style place... love the home fries and the generous portions.. don't rape you on the price... if you are picky and snooty it's probably not for you...

Friendly service...vomitous food.
Rise and Shine looks like a down home, country kitchen, but it's not. Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable about the menu. However, she neglected to tell us how bad everything was.
We placed our order, and 5 minutes later..
(points for prompt service, I guess?)
...we were served an undercooked, wobbly omelette full of egg white snot, and a quesadilla that tasted like burnt beans and Palmolive .
Kudos on the industrial sized bottles of Tabasco.
Keep driving folks. There's a McDonald's up the street.

Somewhere simple to eat. Staff is friendly. Place needs a little bit of cleaning but the food is good. A good place to eat calmly and nothing fancy. Great prices.
