Me and a friend went there and the server handed us some type of concoction/dressing to go on top of the lettuce and tomato he brought. I didn't notice the 7 gnats floating on top of it inside the bottle until a few minutes later.
If you can look passed a restaurants' lack of health code compliances, by all means eat their gnat dressing.

Whole in the wall. This type of food is hard to find in the DFW area...in my experience. I was so happy to find thus place and even happier to learn that they make Mofongo. I will definitely be back!

The service was horrible. I had high expectations for this place, since it's the only Dominican restaurant in Dallas. When I arrived the owner was on his personal cellphone talking extra loud while standing in front of our table. After 5 minutes he finally finished his call and asked us what can he get us. After waiting 15 minutes for our drinks we finally ordered our food. OUR FOOD DID NOT ARRIVE TILL 50 MINUTES LATER!!! By this point I was irritated and wasn't even hungry anymore. My fiancé ate and said the mofongo was very dry. I tried my nieces rice, chicken and beans and it was bland. Definitely a bad experience. Will not be returning.

Do not stay here. Roaches; and if you see that you can pay when you arrive at the hotel, it's a lie and deceptive! They will run your credit card prior to your arrival not what is honored.
