If you're a vegetarian or vegan, you will probably leave hungry. If you're looking for a salad, you'll be okay... it's just not great. Apollo, Mandarin, Verona's, Embers, Spirits, Thai Bistro and Khan are all better choices. This place is really at the bottom of the totem pole in that sense.
It's only saving grace is it's local and fresh. I would change my mind on a dime if they regularly carried some well seasoned and prepared eggplant, lentil, tofu, tvp chili, seitan curry... anything but a protein free salad taco, which to be fair tastes okay, but is at the end of the day a waste of time.

I wish it was open everyday. This is by far the greatest restaurant I have ever been at in Alexandria. Their fish tacos are delicious and the most tastiest thing I have tasted. That's saying something because I have been eating in cruises.

Stopped here to have lunch on the way to New Orleans with 4 kids. Lunch was delicious. The seared ahi tuna stack salad was amazing. The staff was so sweet. The owner even offered us some tips on places to eat in New Orleans. Will def be coming back!

Really tasty place. Had the shrimp and corn bisque, which is very thick for a bisque, but delicious. Shrimp tacos were super tasty. Might have been better on corn tortillas, but the aioli made it worthwhile. Homemade chicken salad is also quite good. Blueberry bread pudding is delightful.
Service was a little scattered, but they made up for it in kindness and generosity. Could use a little more ventilation - the seared tuna had the place smoking.

Tried their restaurant with friends based on yelp reviews- Word of Mouth did not disappoint! Thank you for making me a legend for recommendations within our little circle. This was a great place for a fresh, homemade bite-to-eat with a quirky home setup.
