This used to be the best place in town to get pizza. But now they rarely even pick up their phone to take an order. Should have picked up their phone, because now my money's going to someone else.

We ordered the "Abq magazine" pizza, it was delicious. Everything is self serve. There were 6 of us, and we sat comfortably at a big table. They also have nice patio seating.

This was my first time at the Rio Grande location. I walked in and the girl handed me a menu and told us she would be right with us. We waited 20 minutes and no one came to our table. I walked up to the front counter and she told me I had to order there. I waited another 20 minutes waiting for our food. I talked to the manager and he didn't seem to care, so I asked for a refund. He looked at me dumbfounded and I had to demand a refund. The customers that came in with us were at the counter leaving. They should ask their customers if this is there first time so we are not guessing how the process works!!!

Great food and atmosphere. The one thing missing is wait staff. You order at the counter then they bring your food. Not terrible but their Coralles location has wait staff to take your order at your table. I would love to see that here. Village Pizza is my favorite pizza place in town but I do prefer their original location over this one. Hope they continue to grow but maintain their personal family business feel. :)
