Food is nothing short of delicious. Their plates come in big portions. They also offer a selection of desserts. Food is fairly priced, it is well worth it. Definitely one of favorite places I've had middle eastern food at.
The staff was very welcoming and took the time to share about their place when they knew I wasn't from there.

The food here is amazing. The soft drinks do cost a bit much, but the food is well priced so it evens out. There is not a lot of parking so you may have to park elsewhere and walk.

Sahara is among my two favorite Middle Eastern restaurants in Albuquerque.
Their menu is large, featuring numerous regional Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. The portions are enormous; plan for leftovers.
In my opinion, their falafel is the best in Albuquerque.
Sahara is owned by an incredibly nice family, and the service is exemplary.

Excellent food, friendly staff, and well decorated walls. The location can use some work: parking and access is highly limited however, this is not necessarily the fault of the restaurant. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves Middle Eastern food.
