Hot and sour soup, not very hearty but HOT! Give 'em an A-. Dumpling soup, very good - A. Simple tuna sushi roll - big roll but chewy tuna. Not so good - C-. Chef special Crispy Eggplant - sweet sauce on heavily breaded eggplant, fried so they are a little like fried jalapeño poppers but sweet. Gets boring - B-. Big portions. Overall OK, would try other selections on extensive menu next time.

Excellent service and quality sushi for fair prices. The atmosphere is very calm and it's my go to after a hard week to rest up and recuperate.

It was fine, fun atmosphere, but service was very slow, sushi rice not the best, menu for other than sushi limited. I could see how on a "better day" I may rate higher. Great place for older crowd.

The food and atmosphere is always great. I have enjoyed their Sushi for several years. I have been here many times.

This is by far the worst sushi place I have been to in Albuquerque. I honestly had high hopes for it. I enjoyed the decor, they really made it feel like you were at a beach somewhere. However, I did not leave there feeling like I was had been to paradise.
I'll start with the service. Our server was not friendly at all. She did the bare minimum of work and never smiled. Felt like we were an annoyance
Though the restaurant was nearly empty we waited at least 45 minutes for our sushi boat and another 10-15 mins for 1 roll! Now I could forgive the wait if the food is good. Not the case here. The fish was warm and soggy. I actually gagged, I NEVER gag when I eat sushi. I LOVE sushi. The fish did not taste fresh the rice was mushy.
My family usually fights over the last piece, we left 3/4 of the roll and six pieces on the boat. Honestly, the only reason we ate as much as we did is the price. It disgusts me that we nearly $80.
Eat there at your own risk.
