Great selection of tasty cocktails with a great atmosphere. Fun place to spend the later part of the night. Has multiple floors and an outdoor seating area so you're spoiled for choice. They dont allow the place to get too busy too which means you get served in good time.

Love the atmosphere and the themes. Drinks, although they vary, are not the best options available in town. Still, it's a fave especially if you are going out in numbers.

The bars nice but the "alternative" bar staff are rude arrogant and unfriendly ....that's probably why they work nights on minimum wage and wear second hand clothes
We asked politely for a 2 for £10 cocktail deal and were treated to "eye rolling" smirking and sarcastic comments .......
We understand york is a very cool and trendy place but rudeness from minimum wage 20-30 something bar staff who still dress like teenage students is not acceptable.
Very disappointed as this used to be a very cool friendly bar but it seems to have sadly lost its "sparkle"
Sadly this spoilt our night and would be very reluctant to visit this bar again as should anyone over the age of 35 who doesn't fit in with the American high school look

Worth noting that this place no longer serves food - but their specialising in cocktails, artisan gin, and really interesting drinks is definitely not a bad thing. If the bar seems crowded there's a comfy lounge upstairs. Casual, a little pricey for students, but very cool.

Very trendy, seemed busy when we got there. Personally I am not a Gin person and cannot get excited for this new revival but by looking at this place and others like it there are plenty of people who can. Nice little outside seating area good for warmer and sunnier York days.
