A little tricky to find, but a great little site.
Facilities are ideal for short or overnight stays - it helps that it was sunny when we camped, so everything was scenic and clean. My daughter, wife and I were very pleased with how tidy, well presented and convenient it was for local food, etc. Will definitely be going back soon. The owners were lovely, very approachable and helpful.
Highly recommended for small families, tents and vans.

Lovely campsite with welcoming owners, toilet and showers in really clean & warm condition. Nice 4 mile along the river from York, and very near a couple of cheap pubs.
Bit of noise/light pollution from the A19, the railway lines and planes flying over, but this wasn't too bothersome. :)

Lovely campsite. Well situated near York. Facilities are great, very clean toilet block. Small site so does not get overcrowded. Owners really friendly. The pub over the road only let's kids in the beer garden, however there is a Hungry Horse chain pub 10 minutes walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I have just returned from a wonderful weekend break at Grantchester caravan & camping site. Having stayed at many camp sites previously I can honestly say this is a real gem. Beautiful site in a great location. Excellent facilities for a small site, clean & well maintained toilet/shower block. Very friendly hospitable owners. I would highly recommend & will definitely be returning soon.
